There have been many threats to the west about nuclear attacks etc.
I have two thoughts apart from the obvious one of thinking about all the people suffering and being killed (on both sides):
- Why do we ever deal with them? I bet we are still buying gas from them now. Whats the point if all they are going to do is spend it on weapons to attack us with?
- I don’t support CND or nuclear disarmament. Why not? Well in Ukraines case Russia said get rid of your nuclear weapons we will never attack you. Nuclear weapons are the one reason why the nuclear armed states have not been involved in a major war at home for the past 70 years or so.
The other related issue, is that if Russia thinks you are weak and will never fire yours, then they could attack. Could we rely on the USA to save us?
That is the danger of labour getting in. I really don’t like the conservatives either.
