I am passionate about aviation, particularly historic aviation.

I am most interested in people and experiences and also a little in the technology itself.

For the early aviators, it meant putting their lives on the line with something that perhaps wasn’t fully understood.

During wartime, we have our pilots, soldiers and sailors to thank for our freedom, much respect and thanks must go to them.

More recently, while we are not longer a world leader in aerospace, we still had some spectacular successes, notably Concorde and the Harrier jump jet.

I also support various aviation charities, such as the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and also numerous return to flight charities, which I will post about in due course.
