As I have said on other posts, electric cars need to be big and heavy to get enough batteries to give them the puny range they have. Its a constant battle between weight and range, but extra weight = extra power needed and you can’t change the laws of physics, where F = Ma = Force = Mass x Acceleration, i.e. the heavier the car and the more you drive it aggressively, the more fuel you use, so the more carbon you produce whether its electric, petrol or diesel.
