In them he argues that heart attacks and stroke are caused by long term stress, not by a “clogging up” of arteries, which actually get clogged up from the outside not the inside – bad diet, not cholesterol. He argues that a lowering of cholesterol is actually an unwanted side effect. Whether you believe this or not, seriously, you need to read about this before considering statins if you value your health.
