During the summer I explained my weight loss to my step daughter and how I achieved it.
I explained low sugar may help her control her appetite and how eating sugar made me hungry.
I offered her £5 for every 1lb she lost during the summer break, and another fiver for every pound she kept off by Xmas.
Anyway, the cost? She lost over two stone so that’s over £300.
Money well spent if she has learnt something that will help her all her life. Why don’t they teach about this in schools?
I am not sure just where this blog is going to go, apart from another half stone loss for me in the new year, but I am really interested in the politics of the food industry (how they want to feed us all sugar for profit because sugar is so cheap), how sugar is in everything in large quantities, and how historically processed sugar was not in our diets at all – its a totally unnatural food for our species.
